Roberto and Chloe, an Italian-English couple chose us to tell their wedding story. The atmosphere was typical of foreign weddings, relaxed and lighthearted. The preparation of the bride took place in a beautiful farmhouse, together with the bridesmaids, between a talk, a laugh and a flute of champagne. Once ready, she moved to the nearby Casale Colle dell’Asino, where both the ceremony and the reception were held. The farmhouse is located in the hills at the foot of the Castelli Romani. From here, overlooking its beautiful terrace, you can admire the vineyard and the countryside below, which make the atmosphere really impressive. Wandering around the location already breathed the festive atmosphere. Everything was set for the event: the tables for the aperitif, were already set under a large linden tree. In the room the staff walked frantically to finish the table settings. Outside everything was ready for the arrival of the bride and groom: an arch of flowers, white chairs and a large white runner, who ran over the beautiful lawn. From the alley, which goes up to the top of the hill, the bride’s car was seen going up: everything began to take shape. The ceremony took place in an intimate and exciting atmosphere, where Roberto and Chloe were about to promise each other, eternal love. As often happens, there was no lack of speeches and promises that they made each other: tears and smiles of joy made the moment, really exciting. Finally, the couple chose the ritual of the sand: a symbolic ritual that gives the wedding an emotional charge, hard to replace in other ways. After the ceremony Roberto and Chloe chose the characteristic borgo di Castel Gandolfo, for couple shots: a perfect location because it is full of views and alleys, worthy of the great cities of art; not to mention the beautiful balconies overlooking Lake Albano. At the farmhouse, everything was ready for the party, only the bride and groom were missing to begin, even if the waiting guests were already relaxing in the shade of a large linden tree. The party was held in the best way, with a reception full of emotions, including the “speeches”; one of the moments that we prefer in the marriages of foreigners. Abroad there is this beautiful tradition, during the reception, which consists of short speeches by the guests (usually a wish) addressed to the bride and groom. A moment full of meaning and emotions. In short, this was definitely one of the weddings that we liked most this season. A well-blended set of three things: joy, beauty and spontaneity, which made everything perfect.
